| Item 1 |
Shipments are expected to be
ready when the order is placed with our call taker. This includes
trips called in for same day and next day delivery. Excessive waiting/loading
times are subject to a charge of $30.00 per hour billed in one-quarter hour
increments. |
| Item 2 |
It is the shipper's
responsibility to provide complete delivery information on each
shipment. Failure to accurately provide addresses and zip codes
may result in inaccurate billing.
We will endeavor to provide you quality service with whatever information
is available but cannot guarantee the accuracy of your bill. |
| Item 3 |
It is the shipper's responsibility to
insure the driver has loaded the correct shipment(s) and that
all items have been loaded. Loads taken that are returned
or driver callbacks to complete loads because of failure to
insure the correct load was not taken originally will be subject
to extra charges. (i.e. extra stop or time lost or extra
mileage) |
| Item 4 |
With the exception of C.O.D.'s,
round trips are charged at fifty percent of the regular rate for a same day
return. C.O.D. returns are charged a flat rate of $10.00. Rush returns are priced accordingly. |
| Item 5 |
Deliveries that total 12 foot in length or more are considered "rack
calls" and are subject to a $25.00 minimum charge. |
| Item 6 |
Shipments out of the KC commercial zone area are considered
"hotshots" and unless flat rates have been negotiated, are charged
according to the "Hotshot Rate Sheet" which can be found in the
"Nationwide Service" section.
The commercial zone area includes all points of origin and
delivery within a loose 30 mile radius of downtown Kansas
City, MO. This includes the cities of Harrisonville, Oak Grove, Tonganoxie,
Gardner and others. |
